During this year's visit to Mt. Carmel, I found that Amo Roden had written a new book. Scrapbook of a Protest consists of about 90 8½" pages, enclosed by a binder. Compared to The Second Standoff, there is less text and consequently less detail, but on the other hand, it includes several black-and-white illustrations, and I find it works best as a companion piece to that book.
She also includes information on how to order wholesale quantities of the book. However, I see no provision for ordering individual copies.
This is the text of the back cover of her book:
DURING THE BRANCH DAVIDIAN STANDOFF OF 1993, ALMIGHTY GOD CALLED A FIFTY YEAR OLD BRANCH DAVIDIAN POOR WOMAN TO STAND UP FOR HER CHURCH. SHE BEGAN AN EIGHT YEAR BATTLE TO PUBLICIZE THE DE- CADES OF PERSECUTION OF HER CHURCH. IN THE PROCESS, SHE UNCOVERED THE TRUTH ABOUT THE APRIL 19, 1993 FIRE, THE DETAILS OF WHICH CHURCHES ARE PERSECUTED AND WHY, AND THE SPECIFICS OF THE GOVERNMENT AND MEDIA COVERUP. SHE WAS ABLE TO GATHER PICTURES WHICH SUPPORT HER COMMENTARY: FIFTY-FIVE ARE INCLUDED. GIVE THE GLORY TO GOD; WHO CAN ACCOMPLISH HIS PURPOSES WITH SMALL WEAK PEOPLE OF FAITH. GIVE THE GLORY TO GOD; WHO USES THE WEAK TO CONFOUND THE STRONG. THIS BOOK IS AN EYE OPENER FOR THOSE WHO THINK GOD DIED AND SATAN RETIRED. FOR CHRISTIANS, IT IS AN AFFIRMATION OF HOW MUCH GOD CAN ACCOMPLISH WITH ONE CHRISTIAN SOLDIER. SUGGESTED RETAIL PRICE $15.OO
